Frequently Asked Questions
Why do home buyers use EasternShoreHousing.com?
Home buyers use EasternShoreHousing.com because it is the central hub for new construction on the Eastern Shore. Instead of browsing and searching across dozens of builder websites and real estate search engines (or driving all over the Eastern Shore), home buyers can easily search, browse and compare information in one easy to use place. Here, home buyers can rely on up to date information and connect directly with builders and their community sales representatives. EasternShoreHousing.com is for home buyers who are looking for newly constructed homes, newly developed communities, floor plans they can customize and home builders on the Eastern Shore.
What areas on the Eastern Shore do you cover?
We feature communities and homes on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, the Eastern Shore of Virginia and Southern and Central Delaware. Whether you call it the Eastern Shore, the Shore, or Delmarva, it's here.

Will you share my information with home builders?
Home builders and their community representatives will be notified when registered users save them as favorites. They may then contact these users with news, updates and invitations to events and promotions using the myESH internal messaging system. We will never share your personal contact information with builders or any third parties.
How is EasternShoreHousing.com different from other websites?
Unlike many other real estate search engines, EasternShoreHousing.com is not just a listing service or a search portal that relies on secondhand information to boost its number of listings. EasternShoreHousing.com partners directly with builders and developers for its home and community information, ensuring quality and reliable information. We've created ESearcH so the information on our site is searchable and filterable up to the most minute details, and we've created myESH so you can interact with this information, and those who provide it, with ease.
Do you work with Realtors?
We work builders, and the people whom they entrust to represent their communities. Sometimes, these are Realtors but oftentimes they are sales representatives who work for the builders themselves. We are not brokers, Realtors or real estate agents. But our builders and their sales representatives can assist you with your home transaction, and our recommended financing partners can make your new home purchase a reality.
I found a home/community on ESH.com that I like, now what do I do?
Log into myESH and Select "Contact Community" on the community profile. Here you can send a message directly the person who represents the community. They can answer any questions you have or schedule an appointment with you to tour the community. Their reply will be waiting in your inbox next time you log into myESH. If you do not register for myESH, be sure to write your personal email address in the "From" field so their reply will reach you.
Why aren't all Eastern Shore communities on the site?
To ensure the highest quality in our home and community profiles and listings, we rely on personal and direct relationships with home builders and developers. We add new builders often and our goal is to one day provide information on ALL builders, new communities and new homes on the Eastern Shore.
